Click-Spin

Click-Spin patented technology will allow you to exchange rotors in the simplest and fastest way possible; no tools are needed!
Align the rotor with the motor shaft and it will sit and lock itself perfectly. Once installed, an audible “CLICK” will ensure you the rotor is properly installed.
When switching rotors per application, grasp the red dial of the rotor and twist counter-clockwise while anchoring the body of the rotor. An audible
“CLICK” will sound and your rotor will then be unlocked from the motor shaft. You can now easily remove it and install your new rotor.
Click-Spin technology is available as a standard option on all our rotors.
New Bio-Lid Design
The unique design of our lids allows you to open and close the buckets with a single hand, and they can also be installed and removed with the buckets on the rotor.
Routine Cleaning Made Easy
Contamination can hide in the tightest of places. The ability to remove a rotor within seconds makes the routine cleaning of the centrifuge bowl easy.
Application Flexibility
The simple action of a twist allows the rotor to be removed within seconds. Start a new application by placing a new rotor over the shaft. An audible “CLICK”notifies a user the rotor has been securely locked.
Security
The automatic locking feature allows a rotor to be securely installed without the worry of damage to the centrifuge.
Rotor Recognition
Safely run the centrifuge knowing a rotor can not achieve speeds over its intended use.
Touchscreen Controls
Touch makes everyone an expert. The ease of use improves user adoption.
Increase the speed of your tasks. Help eliminate errors eliminate errors with clearly defined menus
Power Factor Control
The centrifuge runs constant and uniform voltage and amperage supplied to the motor; allowing 100% repeatability in the quality of the centrifugation. This feature brings you constant quality and high reliability in the results.
End of Run Notification
In addition to an audible alarm, the InSight Control Center features an end of cycle light that illuminates when centrifugation ceases operations providing a visual indication it is safe to remove your work.

InSight Electronic Control Center

Because simplicity and user-friendliness are key words when it comes to laboratory equipment, we have redefined these
concepts.
NuWind Centrifuges feature the InSight Electronic Control Center (ECC). InSight ECC is a plug and play control center housing
the brains of the machine. The ECC is designed with a touchscreen to simply centrifuge controls for high user adoption.
Special Features
  • End of cycle light visually informs when centrifugation cycle is complete.
  • Up to 100 Programs with Title description.
  • Imbalance calibration utilizes software to learn.
  • Service reminders notifies user when its time to grease centrifuge  extending product life.
  • A microprocessor maintains a logbook record of accessories. Notifications will inform user when to check or renew accessory.
  • Service friendly, InSight be exchanged within minutes and can easily transfer programs to a new ECC minimizes downtime.

The Safer Experience

Imbalance Detection
The Centrifuge automatically detects and stops if the rotor is not evenly loaded. You have the option to manually set tolerance levels.
Robust Barrier Wall
Safe and durable. A 1/2 inch (13 mm) steel wall makes up the body of the
centrifuge maximizing safety and laboratory footprint.
Safety Lid Lock
Gently open and lock the centrifuge lid with an automatic locking mechanism to keep your laboratory safe during operation.

Proper Temperature

Maintaining the proper temperature of a centrifuge chamber is a must when spinning cells, plasma, blood, and more.

Nothing Over 37°C

The NuWind ventilation system’s unique first air design pulls
laboratory air from the front of the unit [A]. The vortexcreated within the chamber propels air through the exhaust system depositing heated air on the bottom back of the unit [B]. The separation of ambient temperature laboratory air and heated exhausted air helps to maintain chamber temperature under 37°C. The warm air from the motor [C] is pulled by the Venturi effect in the flex tube and exhatusted from the bottom.
The NuWind powerful refrigeration system surrounds the centrifuge bowl providing the ability to maintain temperature of 4°C with any accessory at any speed.

NU-C200V  Ventilated multi-application centrifuge

Safety Features
  • Automatic lid lock – securely locks lid and can not be opened during centrifugation run.
  • Rotor imbalance detector – centrifugation cycle shuts down if vibrations are too strong.
  • Rotor Recognition – Each NuWind rotor is recognized and can not spin over the rotor’s maximum speed.
Performance Features
  • The NuWind Ventilated model does not recirculate air. First air that enters the bowl to help maintain ambient temperature exhausts at a separate location not allowing for any recirculation and heat build up.
  • Power Factor Control (PFC) – constant uniform voltage and amperage supplied to the motor ensure the perfect centrifugation cycle.

NU-C200R  Refrigerated multi-application centrifuge

Safety Features
  • Automatic lid lock – securely locks lid and can not be opened during centrifugation run.
  • Rotor imbalance detector – centrifugation cycle shuts down if vibrations are too strong
  • Rotor Recognition – Each NuWind rotor is recognized and can not spin over the rotor’s maximum speed.
Performance Features
  • The NuWind Refrigerated model can maintain 4°C temperature control with any accessory at any speed.
  • Power Factor Control (PFC) – constant uniform voltage and amperage supplied to the motor ensure the perfect centrifugation cycle.
